IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WORD LIMIT REQUIREMENTS: Please note that each and every assignment has its own word limit. Importance of Theoretical Approaches Theoretical approaches are implemented to advance and establish efficient methods to research health behaviors. In public health practices, being honest and doing what is required for the public requires careful thought and planned decision-making (Jennings, 2020). Global health ethics theories add moral value to health challenges that are categorized globally. In addition, public health ethics influence decisions that impact community health based on methodical data, and in agreement with recognized principles and standards of right and wrong (Ortmann et al., 2016). Two theoretical approaches Theoretical approaches for understanding ethical dilemmas in public health practice include Contractualist theories and deontological theories. Contractualist Theories reflect on fair, ethically right decisions to be based on practical, honest, and open processes that engage individuals in negotiations (Petrini, 2010). Moreover, this theory requires proactive decision-making and moral reasoning. Deontological theories also utilize ethical rules that emphasize physicians to make the right call of action to bring a point of agreement in medical practice (Mandal et al., 2016). Working in corporate has its risks and benefits. Contractualist Theories would be implemented to help guide ethical issues and decision-making. This would entail collecting profound thoughts and ideas from everyone involved to gain insight, understanding, reasoning to ensure policies assessments are correct and beneficial for all. In my organization, many subject matter experts are put in positions to make the right decisions on what they may think is the best decision for a particular situation. In addition, these judgments are not accurate because decisions are based on their moral viewpoints/interests and do not consider or relate to other’s ideas and views within the organization.
